Professor / Associate Professor in Business/Data Analytics
The successful candidate will have sustained research and consulting record in the fields of Business/Data Analytics; a demonstrated record of excellence in research, teaching, and student supervision; a long-term research and teaching vision; and a strong ability for academic leadership.
Profile of a candidate:
– Recent PhD graduate / postdoc
– Active researcher oriented toward applied research
– Experienced in research grant application and execution
– Excellent in teaching and student supervision
– Sharing UCU’s outlook and values
– Strong English skills
Main tasks:
– Teaching, students’ consultation and supervision (approx. 50% of the workload). Teaching one BS/MS-level course per semester, leading applied research seminar, teaching one intensive course during summer/winter school.
– Expansion of Business/Data Analytics research in cooperation with existing faculty and students, research work, creation of a research group in their field of speciality, ideally leading to the creation of a degree specialization. Publishing at least 1 papers per year and visiting at least two main conferences in the field (approx. 30% of the workload)
– Cooperation and consulting of partner companies in the field of expertise, creation of UCU brand as a leading Business/Data Analytics centre in Ukraine and beyond (5-15% of the workload, can be exchanged for grant writing and grant execution)
– Grant writing (5-15% of the workload, can be exchanged for cooperation and consulting of partner companies)
