Machine Learning Warm-up Week

Machine Learning Warm-up Week is a one-week event offered to those who have no background in Data Science and Machine Learning, but who would like to take part in the Data Science Summer School. ATTENTION! You may visit ML Warm-up Week only if you attend the Summer School, i.e. it’s prohibited to visit the ML Warm-up Week without participation at the Data Science Summer School. The dates of the ML Warm-up Week: July 13-18, 2020.

Study Program

ML Warm-up Week includes the following courses:

• Statistical inference
• Introduction to Machine Learning
• R Workshop
• Data Visualization
• Intro to ML on Cloud

All courses are obligatory to attend. The participants don’t gain additional ECTS credits after the ML Warm-up Week completion.

Prerequisites

Eligible applicants should be familiar with calculus, linear algebra, basics of probability theory, basics of Python programming.

Participation Fees

The participation in the ML Warm-up Week is fee-based. The participation fee doesn’t include accommodation and meals. The fee is paid in addition to the Data Science Summer School.

• International applicants: 150 euro
• Ukrainian applicants: 4 000 UAH
• Ukrainian students: 2 000 UAH
