Mittul Singh is a doctoral researcher at the Saarbruecken Graduate School of Computer Science. He is working with Prof. Dietrich Klakow at Spoken Language Systems Group at the Saarland University, Germany. His research is focused on developing Machine Learning applications for Natural Language Processing tasks like Spoken Term Detection, Speech Recognition, Text Summarization. Specifically, he is developing language models to handle long range dependencies and rare words for low-resource NLP tasks. Among other interests, he likes to travel, read books, try new vegetarian cuisines and write about himself in third person.
